Dr. Abiodun Adedipe is the Chief Consultant of B. Adedipe Associates Limited. An accomplished trainer in the banking, financial and non-financial organizations, Biodun is also highly sought as a financial analyst and commentator on government budgets and economic policies. He consults for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in major policy issues.
He was a recipient of the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah Outstanding Merit Award in March 2007 on the occasion of the 50th independence Anniversary of Ghana, among several other Local and international Awards.
Biodun is a 1980 graduate of Economics from the University of Ife and in1989, graduated with a Ph.D from the University of Lagos. He also attended the University of Sussex, U.K in 1984 on an international research scholarship for postgraduate students, which was named after Sir. Adam Thomson, the Chairman of British Caledonian (now British Airways) at that time. He worked for University of Lagos from 1982 to 1987, Enterprise Consulting Group (1987 to 1989), World Bank Resident Mission (1989), and IMB International Bank Plc. (1989 to 1992).
In April 1992, He joined First City Monument Bank Plc. (FCMB), as head of strategic planning and he was deployed to Corporate Finance Department as an Assistant Vice-President (equivalent to Assistant General Manager) and Head of Business Development in June 1996. He exited the bank in 1996 to lead the business (B. Adedipe Associates Limited) which he founded with his wife in 1993.
